I am an educator, birth worker, public health professional, and entrepreneur.

My passion for social justice and advocacy surrounding maternal and child health brought me to this work of becoming a doula. I am a DONA (Doulas of North America) trained birth doula.

My birth philosophy is that every woman should have an empowered, consciously informed birthing experience. My role as your support person is to provide you with all the information and support you need so you can advocate for yourself. As a doula, my goal is to return autonomy to the birthing experience so your vision for your ideal birth becomes a reality and you can reflect on your experience with joy and a greater sense of self-confidence.

To this work I bring compassion, empathy, flexibility, honesty, and a true listening ear.

I look forward to working with you!

Sincerely,

Tonyé Fohsta-Lynch, MPH

Birth is not only about making babies. Birth is about making mothers – strong, competent, capable mothers who trust themselves and know their inner strength.
