Congratulations on your pregnancy! My goal is to ensure that every womxn has an empowered birth experience where they feel informed and supported. Whether you are planning a natural birth, medicated, or cesarean I am here to support you. While the birth experience can sometimes be unpredictable, it should still be safe and positive. No matter your decisions, I will respect and honor them by providing non-judgmental, unconditional support as I help guide you through this process.

Our first meeting will be your complimentary consultation, this energy exchange allows us to determine whether we are a good match for one another as this is an intimate and personal experience for you. If we decide this is not the case, I will gladly provide a list of doulas with whom you might find fit your needs. However, if we do decide we are a great fit, we begin our partnership with our first prenatal meeting.

LGBTQ and non-traditional families are respected and supported.

Labor & Birth Support Overview

This time is key as you begin your official transition into parenthood and prepare to bring your baby earth side. During this time you and your partner determine how hands on you would like me to be, as these moments can be an intimate time and you may prefer privacy.

During labor I will work with you and your support system to ensure you are comfortable, supported, and remain open-minded through physical and emotional support. Through partnership with your birth provider, we will determine when is best for you to head to the hospital. If you have decided on a home birth, I will meet you and provide continual support and care.

My goal is to provide a calm, peaceful, non-judgmental environment with unconditional support to make this experience memorable and full of joy.

  • continuous non-judgmental unconditional support & reassurance

  • moral support for partner & family

  • effective positioning for labor and birth

  • comfort measures using tools such as birth ball, rebozo, peanut ball, and gentle touch

  • mindfulness & visualization

  • hydration & nourishment

  • facilitation of communication and explanation of medical terms & procedures
